| Issue with disco.aspx and wsdl.aspx | Francesco | 7/1/2009 4:35 AM | | Hi,
SPDev is really nice, but I'm encountering an issue with disco.aspx and wsdl.aspx files: they reference _layouts/temp instead of _vti_bin in the URLs.
I'd like to deploy the web service files in ..12/ISAPI aka _vti_bin directory.
There is an SPDev option to generate files with that URL?
Thanks.
Francesco

| Thanks for sharing | Bernie | 8/3/2009 7:54 AM | | Thank you for sharing.
Seems to be quite useful, unfortunately it does not work on my system.
The debug mode shows only "1.1.0.0" and "- tempfiles" does create no output. There is no output at all.
Is there a way to get some more output of the debug mode, to see which step does not work?
Kind Regards

| Thanks and a Request | Mark G. | 8/11/2009 7:18 PM | | I have always disliked running the disco tool and modifying by hand. Great tool! THank you.
Would love an option to have it generate virtualized urls. I rarely have WS that is hardcoded to a specific site. Also another feature would be to automatically add to the spdisco.aspx file in ISAPI to make the web service discoverable with the other SharePoint web services.
Thanks again!
